This feature is not subject to our service terms. Pre-GA features are available as is and might have limited support.

The Modigie Job Engine generally exhibits high yield rates with high accuracy, precision, and recall. However, results may vary based on the quality of the input parameters and the persona.

  • Geography: Coverage is best for companies and individuals in the United States, followed by Canada. While employment verification works well internationally, some phone number intelligence features are U.S.-specific.
  • Digital Footprint: Companies with a strong online presence (e.g., website, social media profiles) are better covered. Smaller businesses with limited digital footprints may yield fewer results.
  • Profession: Coverage varies by profession. Top and middle management roles, as well as those involving networking and influence, typically have higher coverage.

Person name

Provide the full first (i.e. given name) and last name (i.e. family name, surname) whenever possible. Abbreviations or initials might reduce accuracy. Single-letter names are accepted, as they are valid in some cultures (for example, the Korean name or the Japanese name are romanized as the latin letter O). In the U.S., single-letter names like J or J. are also possible.

Middle names are optional; initials are acceptable. Including middle names can improve accuracy, especially for common name combinations.

See Person for more details.

Company name

Use the company name as it appears in public sources. Legal designations (for example, "Inc." or "LLC") are usually unnecessary. Avoid appending your internal identifiers or custom suffixes (for example, "ACME Dynamite - Summer Campaign"). "ACME Dynamite" yields better results.

See Employment for more details.

Individual business email

Provide the individual's business email address. Generic addresses (e.g., info@example.com, sales@example.com) negatively impact yield rate and accuracy.

See Rich email address for more details.

Phone number

For best results, the E.164 format is preferred. E.164 is essential for automated dialers and phone networks. It starts with a + followed by the ITU country code between one and three digits, and ending with the subscriber number. Do not include extensions, letters, or spaces. For example, use +19722319930 (U.S.) or +49837493081 (Germany). North-American numbers, including the U.S., have the ITU country code 1.

Alternatively, you can provide the number without an ITU country code in the number value, but you would provide the country in a separate field with one of its ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, alpha-3, or numeric-3 codes.

U.S. numbers may also be provided as (XXX) YYY-ZZZZ without the ITU country code or the ISO country. If the country is omitted, the Modigie Job Engine attempts to infer the country from the convention used in the number format (defaulting to the U.S.). For numbers of other countries, the increased ambiguity may reduce coverage and accuracy significantly.

Tip

Eliminate any ambiguity and provide your numbers either in E.164 format, or attach one of the ISO 3166-1 country codes to the number. A phone number in the format (XXX) YYY-ZZZZ will be typically interpreted as a U.S. number if the country was omitted.

LinkedIn User URL

For some job types, your application is required to provide a LinkedIn User URL. This can be only a plain LinkedIn User URL. LinkedIn Sales Navigator links or other LinkedIn URLs are not qualified as LinkedIn User URLs.
